Field volunteers help investigate high-priority search areas for surviving American chestnut trees. Submit your email to request access.
Field volunteer sign-ups are not open on this deployment yet. Everything public — the map, candidates and methodology — works without an account.
What approval means
Approval makes you eligible to sign in and claim a candidate for a field check. Exact locations stay server-side: they are shared only for a candidate you have actively claimed, one at a time, because surviving chestnuts are rare and vulnerable to collection and disturbance.
